There's a myth in society that being frugal means you could not have any fun. Most of us believe that frugal and fun ideas don’t exist.
These are myths I despise and ones I’m trying to prove false. Being frugal doesn’t mean you've got to be boring.
There are many ways to enjoy your life while staying on a sensible budget.
In fact, I think that a number of the various great ways to possess fun are free or affordable. We spend hardly any money within our entertainment budget monthly and still have an excellent time crammed with new experiences. Just inspect my Instagram if you don’t believe me!
Here are the 7ways save money during frugal fun
Mystery buys frugal fun.
Mystery shopping won’t make you rich, but it is often simple thanks to earning free meals at restaurants, free outings, free hotel stays, and more.
You’ll need to buy everything upfront together with your own money and you'll be required to fill out surveys afterward, but it’s how to spoil yourself while still having frugal fun.

Happy hours are excellent thanks to discounted food and drinks. you'll be ready to save 50% or more by just visiting bars and restaurants during a specified time.
Another way to be frugal almost like this is often to take advantage of cheaper days.
Sign up for email lists.
The next time your favorite restaurant or place asks if you'd wish to check-in for his or her email list, say yes!
You can earn valuable coupons, free visits, and more by doing this.
If you would like to require it one step further, you'll even create a separate email address for all of those offers to travel to. That way you aren’t cluttering up your normal email address.
Visit the library.
Your local library can provide several frugal ideas for you and your family.
You can borrow books or movies, which you'll then bring home, and have a fun night reception with friends and/or relations.
Churn credit cards.
You can still continue vacations albeit you're frugal and on a budget.
One way to possess frugal fun and continue vacations is to churn credit cards. this is often what I do – all I even have to try to do is use credit cards to pay my bills a bit like how I normally would.
If you're good at managing credit cards and you recognize you won’t enter debt to earn rewards, then this will be a pleasure thanks to continuing vacations on a budget.

Go outside, for what?
There are many frugal ideas for what you'll do outside for fun. Plus, if you have already got all of the gear then it is often particularly cheap thanks to enjoying yourself.
You could:

Find free attractions in your city.
But there are usually plenty of free things to try in your area. you only need to put in a little bit of legwork to seek out them because those free activities generally don't allow marketing themselves to you.
Here are eight places to see. If you scour all of those places, you’ll likely find much more free activities and free places to go to than your free time will allow.
1. Community calendars. Many towns and cities maintain a community calendar that lists events within the area over subsequent months approximately. you'll often find copies of this on a bulletin board at your hall or on the city’s website. You’ll find events like free music concerts, community yard sales, and open houses.
2. Parks and recreation department. Your city’s parks and recreation department usually runs much more programs and manages much more facilities than you would possibly think. By visiting the office or checking its website, you'll find a full list of all the parks, trails, and other facilities managed by the parks and recreation department, also as the classes and special activities it offers. The overwhelming majority of those things are going to be liberal to use and participate in.
3. Local colleges and universities. Colleges and universities offer many free activities for the community to participate in – speeches, presentations, demonstrations, festivals, and even classes.
4. Community websites. Larger towns and cities often have a well-maintained website that gives notices on the homepage of upcoming community events and new community resources.
5. Free local newspapers. Every city has a free local newspaper that is preloaded with ads for local events and activities. These newspapers will likely feature some sort of events calendar, which lists a variety of free community events you'll not be conscious of.
6. Local library. Your city’s library may be an excellent spot to go to if you’re trying to find interesting free things to try. Plus, libraries provide access to plenty of free books, movies, music, and other items for you to use.
7. State tourism website. Every state maintains a tourism guide on its website that lists plenty of things to try to do within the state – many of which are completely free. inspect that guide. it'll point you to a bunch of attractions and events you would possibly not have heard of or hadn’t considered visiting before.
8. City hall. One final stop worth making is hall. Many cities feature several bulletin boards where groups can post listings for community events or activities. Newly launched groups trying to find new members often use this resource to advertise their group.
